Ben attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he was an Executive Editor of Loyola's Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Ben graduated from the University of Michigan.

Ben is a volunteer attorney for Lawyers for Creative Arts. He is currently a member of the Oakland Bar Association, the Jewish Bar Association of Michigan, and the Labor and the Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
