Before joining Deborah Gordon Law, Irina was a law clerk to the Honorable Diana E. Murphy on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Honorable Susan Richard Nelson on the United States District Court, District of Minnesota. Irina attended Yale Law School, where she was a Student Director of the Immigration Legal Services clinic, a member of the Clinical Student Board, and a Submissions Editor for the Yale Human Rights and Development Law Journal. She is barred in the State of Minnesota and admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  Prior to attending law school, Irina served as an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University.
